Unusual findings of acute myeloid leukemia with inv(3)(q21q26.2) or t(3;3)(q21;q26.2): A multicenter study

Abstract: Introduction: AML with inv(3)(q21.3q26.2) or t(3;3)(q21.3;q26.2) [inv(3)/t(3;3)] was very rare. Currently, most reports of AML-inv(3)/t(3;3) were from Western countries, and few reports were from Asian countries. Racial differences in patients with AMLinv(3)/t(3;3) are still unknown. Methods:Between January 1996 and April 2018, a total of 37 AML cases with inv(3)/t(3;3) were studied retrospectively. They were collected from 2229 primary AML cases performed with conventional cytogenetic analysis (37/2229, 1.66%… Show more

“…SEs were performed with six-color flow cytometric analysis, using FACSCalibur flow cytometer (BD Biosciences, San Jose, CA, USA) [15]. A panel containing the following fluorescein isothiocyanate, or phycoerythrin-conjugated monoclonal antibodies was used for diagnosis: CD45, CD34, CD33, CD13, CD117, CD38, HLA-DR, CD11c, CD5, CD10, CD7, CD123, CD36, CD15, CD4, CD3, MPO, CD14, CD65, CD56, CD41, CD61, CD64, CD19, CD22, CD138.…”

“…Serous effusions were performed with six-color flow cytometric analysis, using FACSCalibur flow cytometer (BD Biosciences, San Jose, California). 13 A panel containing fluorescein isothiocyanate, or phycoerythrin-conjugated monoclonal antibodies against the following markers were used for diagnosis: CD45 , CD34, CD33, CD13, CD117, CD38, HLA-DR, CD11c, CD5, CD10, CD7, CD123, CD36, CD15, CD4, CD3, MPO, CD14, CD65, CD56, CD41, CD61, CD64, CD19, CD22, cKappa, cLambda, and CD138. Cases were considered positive if 20% or more of the cells expressed the specific antigen in the appropriate gate.…”
