Abstract:Bound and unbound Frenkel-exciton pairs are essential transient precursors for a variety of photophysical and biochemical processes. In this work, we identify bound and unbound Frenkel-exciton complexes in an electron push−pull polymer semiconductor using coherent twodimensional spectroscopy. We find that the dominant A 0−1 peak of the absorption vibronic progression is accompanied by a subpeak, each dressed by distinct vibrational modes. By considering the Liouville pathways within a two-exciton model, the im… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
