Abstract: Actinic keratosis (AK) is a relatively common skin condition occurring due to chronic sun-exposure, primarily affecting fair skin. Most dermatologists consider it an incipient malignancy due to its risk of full-blown malignant transformation to squamous cell carcinoma.
