Updated Cutoff Values of Basal Serum Calcitonin to Discriminate True Medullary Thyroid Cancer from Other Conditions of Hypercalcitoninemia

Abstract: Background Calcitonin (Ctn) is a tumor marker of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC). However, serum Ctn cutoff values for MTC diagnosis are still under discussion.
