UPLC-ESI-MS\MS Phytochemicals Profiling of n-Butanol Fraction of Xanthium strumarium Fruit Extract

Abstract: The work aimed to explore the phytochemicals of various fractions of Xanthium strumarium fruit extract since this plant is found to be toxic for both humans and animals in Iraq. The extracts underwent phytochemical screening, which indicated the occurrence of flavonoids, alkaloids, phenols, coumarin, saponin, tannins, and terpenoids.
