“…Several databases, such as the Human Metabolome Database, Plant Metabolome Database, Metlin, Lipidmaps, along with self‐built databases, were employed for this purpose. A detailed data matrix was created using the output from both positive and negative ions (Yu et al ., 2022).…”

“…Samples were pretreated as described previously, with minor modifications [ 34 , 35 ]. Briefly, a total of 50 μL supernatant from each sample was transferred into a 1.5 mL microcentrifuge tube containing 20 μL internal standard buffer (L-2-chlorophenylalanine in methanol, 0.06 mg/mL), and vortexed for 10 s. Then, 200 μL protein precipitant of methanol: acetonitrile at 2:1 ratio ( v / v ) was added to each sample and vortexed for 1 min, followed by ultrasonicating in an ice-water bath for 10 min, and placed at −20 °C for 30 min.…”

“…Chang et al [4] found 37 metabolites markers in Chilean and Norwegian salmon through untargeted metabolomics that can be used for food traceability. Yu et al [5] investigated the metabolic changes in Solenocera melantho during refrigerated storage after electron beam irradiation, there were two potential biomarkers, namely phosphatidylcholines and hypoxanthine, were obtained in the shrimp muscle. Overall, metabolomics reveals the changing patterns of differential metabolites in samples, which helps to offer a better understanding of the quality changes in samples at metabolic level.…”
