“…The beetles and hemipterans described from the Upper Triassic Santa Juana Formation, were found in association with a rich floristic assemblage, including ferns, sphenophytes, seed ferns, ginkgoaleans, cycadophytes, conifers and gymnosperms, in which plant-insect interactions have also been recognized. The overall good preservation of the specimens indicate that the biota grew and deposited close to water bodies, possibly in abandoned channels or oxbows in a floodplain or deep waters of a lake setting (Martins-Neto et al, 2003;Nielsen, 2005;Leppe et al, 2006;Moisan et al, 2010;Gnaedinger et al, 2014;Pérez & Pérez, 2015).…”
