Abstract: Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination can dramatically reduce the incidence of HPV-associated cancers. However, HPV vaccination coverage in rural areas is lower than in urban areas, and overall HPV vaccination coverage in the United States remains lower than other adolescent vaccines.
