Background and purpose: This paper analyzes the interest of potential users for learning in the field of currency trading or foreign exchange (forex, FX). The purpose of our article is a) to present currency trading, b) to present different options, methods and learning approaches to educating in forex, c) to present the research results discovering the interest of potential users for learning in the field of currency trading. Methodology: For gathering data, an online questionnaire was used. It was distributed so that the survey sample covers socio-demographic variables (gender, age, working status, relationship status, financial status of credit and educational level). Interest in learning in the field of currency trading was assessed. Descriptive statistics, t-test, paired samples test, homogeny test of variances, and ANOVA were used. Results: It was determined that people are interested in learning about currency trading, especially younger ones (< 30 years), who prefer e-learning as their learning approach. Obtaining and possessing the right information is the strongest motivation factor and fearing not having enough necessary prior knowledge is the strongest discouraging factor for learning about currency trading. Conclusion: Education of users in the field of currency trading is becoming increasingly popular with the development of e-learning.

This study aimed to assessing the readiness level of Teacher Trainees (TT) or Guru Pelatih in applying the blended learning model in teaching and learning (T&L) at schools as well as identifying its relationship with teachers’ computer self-efficacy. This survey research was conducted on 201 teacher trainees who were completing their teaching practice in selected Malaysian schools. The study findings indicated that the teachers’ computer self-efficacy level (CSE) was moderate or they lacked confidence in using the learning platform Frog Virtual Learning Environment (Frog VLE) in their teaching activities. The teachers also were less involved in the implementation of blended learning which combined face-to-face learning with online teaching outside the classroom. There was a high positive relationship between teachers’ computer self-efficacy with the usage of blended learning. To ensure that teachers are competent in technology usage or any systems implemented by (KPM) at schools, the teacher trainees should be exposed directly to the current usage while at the university before they start their teaching practice at selected schools.

This research is to explain and discusses the challenges of implementing blended learning and cultivate new ways of pedagogical practices among higher education institutions and universities. To meet the current research objectives, the study has randomly interviewed 15 educators over Malaysia higher education institutions and universities. This study has carried out interviews with some predetermined questions that aimed to explore the challenges to cultivate new ways of teaching in higher education institutions and universities. Cultivate blended learning integration in teaching and learning or in particular in this context of higher education institutions is a challenging and time-consuming process. The study has highlighted the importance of infrastructure, institution’s management and its support, recognitions and ratings, and training and development program in higher education institutions. On this basis, the findings of this study were in line with the e-learning implementation guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education Malaysia. The study confirmed that the challenges such as infrastructure, institution’s management and its support, recognitions and ratings, and training and developing are the main obstacles in the process of introducing blended learning among higher education institutions and universities.
