“…Although no significant differences between two groups were detected, the response rates were in line with the usual rTMS treatment response outcome for TRD patient in both protocols [3]. Likewise, our remission rate was in line with previous studies using conventional rTMS [2], but rather low regarding other reports using DC-TMS (34.7e47.6%) [6]. The follow-up duration and assessments were insufficient to evaluate potential time impact and delayed effects on remission or response rates.…”

“…A limited number of studies have compared the response rate amongst such coils. For example, the H-coil showed a 46% response rate at four weeks of treatment which increased to 81% at 22 weeks; double-cone coils have reported a response rate of 40-52.4% (37). One review reported noticeable higher response rate with H-coil than figure-8 coil (38) while a randomized controlled trial reported no significant difference in response rate between the double-cone coil and figure-8 coil (39).…”

“…The two-coil or double-cone coil is a new device composed of two large circular wings, fixated at a 120 angle. Among the diverse coils existent in the market, this one has demonstrated the best balance between the depth and focal length of the stimulus, because it is the most focal coil that can reach deep targets within the energy limit of standard TMS devices (Monteiro & Cantilino, 2019). Kavanaugh et al (2018) was the only one to use this device.…”
