Use of Biotherapics and Isotherapics in Curitiba

Abstract

RESUMO:Este trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar a utilização de medicamentos bioterápicos e isoterápicos em Curitiba. As farmácias participantes responderam um questionário e verificaram em seus registros as prescrições homeopáticas de um ano. Os bioterápicos e isoterápicos representam menos que 10% do total das prescrições homeopáticas; Tuberculinum, Histaminum, Carcinosinum, Colibacilinum e Influenzinum foram os bioterápicos mais prescritos e os isoterápicos mais prescritos foram pó domiciliar, pólen e pelos de animais; a forma farmacêutica líquida foi a mais prescrita; o método mais prescrito foi o Hahnemanniano e a escala mais prescrita foi a centesimal. The pharmacies participants answered a questionnaire on their records and found the homeopathic prescriptions a year. The biotherapics and isotherapics represent less than 10% of all homeopathic prescriptions; Tuberculinum, Histaminum, Carcinosinum, Colibacilinum and Influenzinum were the most prescribed biotherapics and household dust, pollen and animal's hair were the most prescribed isotherapics; the liquid remedies were the most precribed; the Hahnemann's method was most widely prescribed and the centesimal scale was most prescribed.

Evaluation of homeopathic treatment of Escherichia coli infected swine with indetification of virulence factors involved: Pilot study
