Use of Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation in Postpartum Management of a Patient With PAH

Abstract: INTRODUCTION: Pregnancy in pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) carries a high mortality, especially postpartum. 1 Moreover, new therapies such as extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), used in non-pregnant patients with PAH, have not been validated in their pregnant counterparts.
