Use of long-wavelength devices for analog optical-fiber loops

Abstract: Abstruct-This paper reports on experimental investigations in the use of available long-wavelength (1.3-1.55-pm) devices in wide-band analog optical-fiber loops assumed functioning in a conventional starconfigured switched network.
