Use of Rifabutin as an Alternative Agent for Human Brucellosis: A Case Report

Abstract: Drugs that have a good intracellular passage are used in the treatment of brucellosis. According to our knowledge, there is no report in English about rifabutin usage in brucellosis. We present a case that developed intolerance to many anti-brucella drugs, who was then successfully treated with a combination of rifabutin, ofloxacin, and ceftriaxone.
