The work presents an analysis linked to one of the environmentally sustainable energy alternatives that are currently being adopted with success Worldwide. Putting the field research method into practice, the results of a study related to an application of technological innovation are shown to reduce the amount of the electricity bill of a local teacher, through the introduction of photovoltaic technology connected to the low grid. Institution tension. The results of the load study and hourly energy consumption of said entity are shown and its own methodology is deployed for the technological design of a photovoltaic plant connected to the grid, which can avoid the energy consumption of the conventional grid, reducing the amount of the institution's electricity bill, at the same time that it is possible to reduce losses, improve the quality of electricity service and reduce COemissions2 into the atmosphere. The environmental and social impacts associated with the penetration of photovoltaic technology are exposed.

In the future energy development of the planet, renewable energies are decisive, because of the benefits that these entail in their use, besides being inexhaustible; These are used in different ways, in heating in electrical energy, electrochemistry, among others. These energy sources in its implementation have had a social impact by generating jobs, improving the quality of life in remote areas, improving health by reducing pollution; In addition to the levels of knowledge reached not only by professionals but also the population in general. In Ecuador, during the last 10 years, in the introduction of renewable energies, fundamentally hydraulic projects have been worked on. Which four are already in operation, this is how the country has been consolidated, being one of the most energy-rich in the region, in the same way, this has generated sources of work for many people; besides avoiding large pollution to the atmosphere. In the province of Loja, a wind farm, photovoltaic power plants are deployed, and public lighting with photovoltaic systems is used in some sectors of the City. The objective of the work is to demonstrate the social impact that the introduction of these technologies has had in the province of Loja, not only in the social sphere but also cultural, economic, environmental and tourist.

Geographic Information System for Sustainable Energy Development (SIGDES). It is the system which contains geo-referenced data that leads to the knowledge about several potentials of renewable energy sources in the province of Manabí. The objective of providing this information is proposed in a system that promotes the educational research and projects for business development with a territorial vision of sustainability that can make possible the change of energy matrix. The system allows the user to use the information contained in the database, focusing on the solution of energy problems in the community and leads to local sustainable development.
