This chapter explores the potential of digital health technologies in preventive cardiology, including telemedicine, wearables, sensors, artificial intelligence, and mobile health platforms. These technologies have shown effectiveness in reducing cardiovascular risk factors and improving patient outcomes. However, barriers to widespread adoption include digital literacy gaps, limited internet access, data privacy concerns, and technical complexities. To overcome these, this chapter proposes strategies like national e-Health guidelines, stakeholder engagement, improved regulatory standards, human-centered design principles, integration with existing healthcare systems, technology infrastructure investments, and fair pricing models. Addressing data security, accessibility, and ethical considerations is crucial for a future of personalized, proactive, and accessible cardiovascular care. The chapter concludes by highlighting the challenges of digital health technologies in preventive cardiology.
