Usefulness of the cachexia index as a prognostic indicator for patients with gastric cancer

Abstract: AimCachexia is associated with the morbidity and mortality of cancer patients. The cachexia index (CXI) is a novel biomarker of cachexia associated with the prognosis for certain cancers.
