The aim of this study is to propose a fuzzy multi-criteria model that will facilitate the assessment of insurance companies' efficiency. This study includes all companies operating within the insurance sector in Serbia in the period from 2007 to 2014 and the data were used from the published financial statements of insurance companies. Five key indicators were identified for the assessment and rating of insurance companies. Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) and Technique for Order Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) were used for building the proposed model. In the first stage, priority weights of criteria were defined by using the FAHP, while in the second phase the insurance companies were ranked using the TOPSIS method. Data processing in the determination of scholarships in SMK Madyatama to date still use a system that is still manual. Where the absence of a well-computerized system in determining the acceptance of scholarship which then led to the emergence of some problems in this manual system. The problem that often arises is not exactly the distribution of scholarships to students. Problems like this are triggered by the lack of scrutiny of the scholarship selectors in conducting the selection process of the scholarship recipients, which is basically the selection process conducted by teachers from the school itself. The decision-making system at SMK Madyatama will be made using TOPSIS method to determine the right scholarship recipient in accordance with the scholarship recipient criteria. With the decision support system of awarding scholarship recipients at SMK Madyatama Palembang based on this website can help and facilitate the school in evaluating the selection of scholarship receipt.

Ülke ekonomilerinin gelişiminde karşılaşılan en önemli sorunlar arasında düşük tasarruf düzeyi ve kaynakların etkin kullanılamaması gelmektedir. Bireysel emeklilik sistemi gönüllü tasarruflar ile yatırımlar arasındaki ilişkide önemli rol oynamaktadır. Bu öneminden dolayı çalışmada 2011 yılı sonu itibariyle Türkiye'deki bireysel emeklilik şirketlerinin veri zarflama analizi yöntemi ile etkinlikleri ölçülmüştür. Modelin girdileri çalışan sayısı ve aktif toplamı; çıktıları toplanan primler ve fonların toplam büyüklükleridir. Analize 14 bireysel emeklilik şirketi dahil edilmiş olup analiz sonucunda bunlardan yalnızca 3 tanesi ölçeğe göre sabit getiri varsayımında etkin çıkmıştır. Ölçeğe göre değişken getiri varsayımına göre ise etkin şirket sayısı 9 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Ölçeğe göre sabit getiri hesaplamasındaki etkin olan şirket sayısının ölçeğe göre değişken getiriden daha az olmasının, diğer bir ifadeyle etkinsizliğin nedeni şirketlerin optimal olmayan ölçekte çalışmasıdır.
