Abstract:We present a numerical investigation on the impact of the Coulomb interaction in the spiderlike photoelectron momentum distributions (PMDs) of a hydrogen atom ionized by an intense laser pulse. We have shown, by integrating analytical correction terms into the standard semiclassical rescattering model (SRM) to formulate the Coulomb analytically-corrected SRM (AC-SRM), that the interference fringes manifest a systematic shift along the transverse momentum direction upon considering the Coulomb action. A Coulomb… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
