Using Big Data for Solving Big Problems of the Cultural and Historical Heritage

Abstract

Damage or destruction of cultural and historical objects due to time and other factors is a key problem in culturology and archaeology. The article examines the use of technologies related to processing of the so-called „big data“ in search of a rational solution to this important scientific and social problem.
