Abstract:Objective: to evaluate the hearing outcomes of using ionomeric bone cement in re-bridging incudostapedial joint discontinuity. Methods: This study included 50 patients who had ossiculoplasty using ionomeric bone cement for re-bridging of incudostapedial joint. There pre and post-operative audiologic outcomes were evaluated and reviewed by using pure tone audiometry averages and the air bone gap values with a follow up period of one year.
