“…Making mathematics a part of learners" life experience enables them to easily understand, recall and make critical sense of the world in which they live. These findings agree with Cofre, Macedo, Braga, Moreira, Souza, Rodrigues, Nascimento, Vieira and dos Santos (2018) [5] , who found out that, the schoolchildren who have received sex education in the math context recall more about sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and claim to be better acquainted with prevention methods. Integrating CSE in Mathematics also enables learners to be aware of the importance of Mathematics in everyday life.…”
