Using of Wide Stopes in Coalless Zones Mined by Shovels and Backhoes

Abstract: Abstract. The examples of mining rock panels by different types of equipment are given in this paper. In such conditions, it is most expedient to use wide stopes to improve the productivity of equipment by reducing the time for auxiliary works. Also technological schemes of equipment operation in different conditions for several quarries of the Kuzbass are proposed. The coal-bearing zone is worked "layer by layer" with one or two benches or subbenches. The bottom of the quarry in this case is flat, without leav… Show more

“…In a number of works such problems as design of typical passports of faces, studying the influence of face type on excavator productivity and general indicators of their work, analysis of hydraulic excavators' operation in different conditions have been solved [19,20,23,25]. In general, the rational conditions for the use of this type of excavation equipment are established and the reliability of its operation is evaluated [28]. However, there are practically no works devoted to determining the energy efficiency parameters of hydraulic excavators.…”

“…Unload the rock (in the dump, vehicle, crushing unit, bunker at the level of installation of the excavator or below) from the bucket is made by turning it together with the handle relative to the boom. After that, the working equipment is moved to the starting position for the subsequent digging cycle [10][11][12][13].…”
