Using the Polar Transform for Efficient Deep Learning-Based Aorta Segmentation in CTA Images

Abstract: Medical image segmentation often requires segmenting multiple elliptical objects on a single image. This includes, among other tasks, segmenting vessels such as the aorta in axial CTA slices.
