Using topic models to identify clients’ functioning levels and alliance ruptures in psychotherapy.

Abstract: Computerized natural language processing techniques can analyze psychotherapy sessions as texts, thus generating information about the therapy process and outcome and supporting the scaling-up of psychotherapy research.
