Prior studies on the use of digital prototyping and virtual reality (VR) in designing as well as evaluating new products have shown that VR reduces both development time and costs whilst augmenting student motivation and creativity. The current study demonstrates that VR and 3D prototyping in the context of project-based learning (PBL) promote effective communication, increase problem solving skills, and enhance learning outcomes. VR and digital prototyping have been extensively used in industries for the purpose of product design and usability evaluation. In the context of engineering education, many research studies have attempted to explore the effect of VR on teamwork, engagement, retention, and motivation. In this paper, VR is used in conjunction with PBL in self-directed approach to design and implement a product using 3D software whilst also using virtual reality immersive CAVE display to evaluate their design. The hypothesis is that the use of VR with a project-based-learning approach to facilitate the attainment of desirable goals in the engineering design project, improved achievement of course learning outcomes and promoted effective communication. According to the research findings, VR approach significantly affected the distribution of cumulative project grades. Students' project grades improved, particularly the implementation component. In addition, the course outcomes related to project design were better achieved in VR approach. The communication and problem-solving skills were improved in the VR approach as compared to traditional approach.

Kritik Altyapılar Ulusal Test Yatağı Merkezi (CENTER) Enerji, eğitim, güvenlik araştırmaları, ulusal/uluslararası saldırı ve savunma çözümleri gibi konuları amaçlayan elektrik güç şebekesi için güvenli bir test yatağı altyapısıdır. Siber güvenlik alanında çalışacak yeni adaylara veya laboratuvarda eğitim alacak lisans/lisansüstü seviyesindeki öğrencilere geliştirilen test yatağında yer alan cihazların tanıtılması, kullanımı, olası sistemsel arıza ve siber saldırı senaryoların uygulanması gibi konularda eğitim verilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, CENTER Enerji’nin bir sanal gerçeklik uygulaması ile simüle edilmesini öneren bir tasarı sunulmaktadır. Böylece, çalışma ekibine katılacak olan yeni araştırmacıların ve laboratuvara eğitim amaçlı olarak alınacak öğrencilerin adı geçen eğitim sürecinde eş-zamanlı ve laboratuvar ortamından bağımsız olarak sanal ortamda ön eğitimden geçirilerek adaptasyon sürecinin hızlandırılması amaçlanmaktadır.

Activation of variable cyber risks in accounting requires the development of standardized effective means of their elimination. Еhe cyber protection to ensure the quality of accounting information accounting information, very important is observance of the unified principles of cybersecurity of enterprises. The purpose of the article lies in separation of the fundamental principles of cybersecurity of accounting information for the purposes of quality provision of information interests of stakeholders. It has been proved that the priority in the development of the latest computer and communication technologies and the manifestation of cyber threats is the qualitative characteristic of accounting information – its reliability. The reliability of records should be positioned as the absence of errors, distortions, inaccuracies caused by third parties, it guarantees availability and confidentiality. A list of fundamental principles of cybersecurity to ensure the quality of accounting information includes: confidentiality, integrity, accessibility, completeness, sanction, adressness, reliability and comparability. The principles of cybersecurity are the foundation in the development of guidelines for cybersecurity of enterprises while preventing, avoiding and eliminating the consequences of threats to the security of accounting information. With the further improvement of computer and communication technologies and the evolutionary complication of cyber threats to the functioning of enterprises, further scientifical researches concerning the fundamental principles of accounting information cybersecurity are needed.
