Uso do ozônio para otimizar o reparo tecidual após complicações em cirurgia oral: relato de caso

Abstract: A ozonioterapia tem sido utilizada como terapia adjuvante em múltiplas modalidades terapêuticas na odontologia. Caracterizado por poucos efeitos adversos em doses terapêuticas, o ozônio está associado à formação de moléculas reativas de oxigênio que influenciam o metabolismo celular e desencadeiam uma resposta antioxidante, favorecendo o reparo tecidual, além de possuir efeito antimicrobiano.
