Utility of ‘back‐up’ arterio‐venous fistulae in patients on peritoneal dialysis and use of haemodialysis catheters

Abstract: Background: Patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis may require unanticipated transfer to haemodialysis. Back up fistula are often created in selected patients.
