Abstract:To study the potential of producing single cell protein (SCP) from waste materials to decrease the protein gap and to reduce the environmental pollution, five yeast strains (Candida blankii, Candida rugosa, Pichia anomala, Kluyveromyces lactis and Rhodotorula glutinis) were used.
