BACKGROUND Iron (Fe)‐containing groundwater treatment residual is a kind of waste from groundwater treatment plants, showing good potential to be reused. Attention has been paid to Fe‐based magnetic water treatment materials for their easy magnetic separation, and in the meantime, kinds of adsorbents were developed to address the severe global dyes pollution. RESULTS Black magnetic material was obtained with using the iron‐containing wastes as iron source without adding other iron chemical reagents by hydrothermal reaction. The X‐ray diffraction (XRD), X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and Fourier‐transform infrared (FTIR) results show that the product is comprised of crystalline iron(II,III) oxide (Fe3O4) core and amorphous carbon shell (Fe3O4@C), and the core‐shell structure can also been seen clearly in transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images. Vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) result shows its saturation magnetization is 33.56 emu/g. This sample's sorption experiments for methylene blue (MB) removal were conducted, and the experiment results indicated that this sample could be used in a wide range of pH (5–12) and the adsorption might be a complex chemical diffusion process consisting of boundary layer effect due to kinetic modeling fitting analysis. The maximum sorption amount of MB was 16.33 and 19.13 mg/g, respectively at 298 K and 308 K. This sample after five regeneration cycles still had 72.1% MB removal rate. CONCLUSION The Fe3O4@C particles with good magnetism were synthesized successfully with Fe‐containing water treatment residuals, water treatment waste sludge, via a one‐step hydrothermal reaction, which could be of reasonable analogy for treating other Fe‐containing industrial waste. Furthermore, this sample could be used as adsorbent for MB molecules removal from dyed water with good reusability and easy magnetic separation. © 2019 Society of Chemical Industry

RESUMO É objetivo da construção civil, reduzir o peso das estruturas e consequentemente os custos com as fundações. A substituição de britas por agregados leves é a alternativa mais utilizada. No entanto, sobretudo no Brasil, só existe uma única fábrica de agregados leves localizada em São Paulo, sendo oportuna a pesquisa de matériasprimas para disseminação da produção de agregado em outras regiões do Brasil. Proporcionalmente, esse tipo de segmento valoriza o reaproveitamento de resíduos de diversos segmentos. Neste trabalho foi produzido um agregado sintético de argila calcinada com a incorporação de resíduo de vidro de embalagem à base de SiO2, Na2O e CaO, com o intuito de substituir britas para uso em concreto. Foram testadas incorporações de 0 a 20% de vidro e as massas foram caracterizadas por índice de plasticidade, DRX, FRX, DTA/TG, capacidade de troca de cátions e massa específica real. Os corpos de prova foram produzidos por prensagem axial a uma pressão de 30 MPa, em formato cilíndrico com 20 mm de diâmetro e altura de 15 mm. Após queima, os corpos de prova foram caracterizados em ensaios de absorção de água, densidade aparente e resistência mecânica à compressão. Foi observado que à medida que o resíduo de vidro foi incorporado nas formulações, as misturas apresentaram resistência mecânica cada vez maior e absorção de água cada vez menor, devido a incorporação dos óxidos fundentes que favoreceram a formação de fase liquida. No entanto, quanto se atingiu o limite de incorporação de 20% e queima a 1000 ºC, foi observado um aumento de volume devido a maior formação de fase líquida que preencheu os espaços vazios dificultando a saída dos gases que ficaram aprisionados. Concluiu-se que o resíduo de vidro quando incorporado na argila em estudo pode ser utilizada de duas formas: como fundente para acréscimo da resistência mecânica e massa especifica aparente e redução da absorção de água ou ainda com a função de redução da densidade propriedade que é fundamental para produção de agregados leves.

The professional training of a clinical speech therapist traditionally focuses on the formation of professional competencies, motivation, and the ability to develop professionally, while the problems of coping with chronic emotional stress are common causes of professional deformations in them. It has been suggested that a high level of speech therapist's readiness for professional activities, along with the individual typological characteristics of the personality described in the professiogram, is positively associated with a number of psychophysiological characteristics. An empirical study of personality traits, psychoemotional state, psychophysiological reactions, the adaptability of speech therapists (N = 56) was carried out using the psychophysiological testing device "UPFT-1/30 Psychophysiologist" ("Medicom MTD"). For the survey of teachers of three Russian state universities (N = 37), providing education clinical speech and language therapists were used the methods of analytical professiogramme E. M. Ivanova.
