Abstract:The primary purpose of this work was to investigate the physical-mechanical properties of particle boards manufactured from Acacia catechu (Khair) particles. They were made at two different pressures of 17.5 kg/cm 2 and 21 kg/cm 2 with 10% and 12% resin content. Their physical qualities (moisture content, density, water absorption, general swelling, and thickness swelling), as well as mechanical properties (Modulus of rupture, Modulus of elasticity, Internal bonding, Screw pullout strength), were evaluated.
