Utilizing 3-methyl-1-butene co-units to tailor phase transition behavior in butene-1 copolymers

Abstract

In this work, 3-methyl-1-butene co-monomers were introduced into PB-1 main chain with comparable crystallinities and for phase transition during stretching, the kinetics and orientation pathway show strong dependence on the concentration of co-units.
