Abstract:BackgroundCoronary microvascular and vasomotor dysfunction (CMVD) is associated with a threefold increased risk of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) and is the primary mechanism responsible for angina/ischemia in patients with nonobstructive coronary artery disease (ANOCA/INOCA).
