UV-trained and metal-enhanced fluorescence of biliverdin and biliverdin nanoparticles

Abstract: UV irradiation and metal chelation can be utilized alone or in combination to tailor the fluorescence behavior of biliverdin-based imaging probes at selected wavelengths.
