Abstract: The hepatoprotective potential of ethanolic extract of stem bark of Alstonia scholaris belonging to the family Apocynaceae and commonly known as Devil's tree or Saptaparni was assessed against carbon tetrachloride-induced hepatotoxicity in Wistar rats.
