Abstract: Fourty two patients with hallux valgus and bunion who underwent M.I.S. surgery, (Minimal Insicion Surgery) were studied retrospectively. 100% presented pain, the inter-metatarsal angle less than 15º. The technique employed has been, 1º metatarsal distal osteotomy (Reverdin-Isham), abductor Hallux tenotomy, and phalange osteotomy (Akin), in all cases by M.I.S.
