Abstract: Introducción: La prescripción de cuidados básicos con temporalidad en unidades de hospitalización médico-quirúrgicas representa una laguna en los planes de cuidados y los estudiantes de enfermería no pueden adquirir la competencia de gestionar cuidados básicos.
