Specifically in Malaysia, a country of diverse ethnicities and lifestyles, the concept of intercultural sensitivity has been examined for its effectiveness on cross-cultural adaptations (Awang-Rozaimie et al, 2013), with various scales tested in different contexts (Tamam, 2010;Yunus et al, 2017), its contributions to intercultural communication competence and relationship with religion , and more.
