Validation of phytochemicals from Houttuynia cordata for their effect on dipeptidyl peptidase IV and sodium/glucose cotransporter 2: an in silico study
Abstract:The study identified and screened phytochemicals present in Houttuynia cordata and characterized their ADME/Tox properties. The powdered plant extracted using water and methanol for about 24h was refluxed, filtered, and evaporated to dryness under reduced pressure and subjected to High-Performance Thin Layer Chromatography, and Gas Chromatography tandem mass spectrometry analysis using a standard protocol.
