“…It is a unifactorial measures and it demonstrated excellent internally consistent (α= .93), good concurrent validity and good criterion-related validity [40]. The Greek-version also demonstrated high internal consistency across two samples (a=.95) and was found to be a significant predictor of eating disorder behaviors after controlling for BMI and weight concern scores [41].…”

“…The BI-AAQ has demonstrated excellent reliability (α = .92) and convergent validity with measures of awareness, acceptance, body shape, and disordered eating habits [ 77 ]. The Greek translation of the questionnaire, validated with Greek and Cypriot undergraduate students ( n = 240), showed unifactorial structure, good internal consistency (α = 0.95), and satisfactory item-total correlations (except for item 6) [ 78 ]. These findings confirm the validity and reliability of the Greek version of the BI-AAQ [ 78 ].…”

“…The Greek version of the Body Image-Acceptance and Action Questionnaire 5 (BI-AAQ-5) was used to assess body image flexibility, which is associated with greater psychological flexibility, reduced body image dissatisfaction, and less DE [ 39 ]. The BI-AAQ was customized from pre-existing psychological flexibility measures, specifically to evaluate responsiveness to body-related thoughts and emotions [ 40 ].…”
