“…The final Ivoirian CHO-KLAT 2.0 was moderately correlated with the PedsQL score in the child reports (Pearson's r = 0.581), which is similar to the results of the Canadian study (r = 0.59) [12] and other cross-cultural validations of the CHO-KLAT 2.0 (e.g., in Brazil (r = 0.47) [16] and China (r = 0.67) [18]). This confirms the validity of the final Ivoirian CHO-KLAT 2.0 among self-reporting BWHs.…”

“…The CHO-KLAT has strong psychometric properties, with proven test-retest reliability [12], content validity [11], and high child-parent concordance [12]. It was initially developed in North American English and was then updated to a version 2.0 [13] and cross-culturally adapted and validated in several European countries [14], as well as China [15,16] and Brazil [17,18].…”

“…The Canadian Hemophilia Outcomes–Kids Life Assessment Tool (CHO‐KLAT) is a disease‐specific HRQoL instrument validated for use in boys 4‐18 years of age. It has been used in a number of clinical studies and was found to be sensitive to clinically important changes in the setting of the use of factor (F)VIII/FIX concentrates for the management of boys with hemophilia . Pooled CHO‐KLAT data from clinical studies in 9 countries provided a sample size large enough to allow evaluation of the impact of treatment on HRQoL while controlling for confounding relationships.…”
