Abstract:In this study, the performance of waste seashells (SS) in adsorbing color and oxidation parameters during the bleaching process of sunflower oil was evaluated and compared with that of commercial clay. Seashell activation methods included microwave treatment (900 W for 30 min), acid treatment (7 N H2SO4), and a combination of both.
