The continuous advancement of smart grids and electric vehicles has led to an increasing demand for lithium-ion batteries with high energy density and long cycle life, which has sparked considerable research interest. Herein, Al/ Cu-doped V 6 O 13 (ACVO) is successfully synthesized by a hydrothermalcalcination method. ACVO delivers a microflower structure with a diameter of about 20 μm. Furthermore, the sample's initial discharge capacity is 345 mA h g −1 , representing a 44% increase compared to that of the pure V 6 O 13 . The incorporation of Al/Cu doping can effectively mitigate the charge transfer resistance and enhance the diffusion rate of lithium ions. This study indicates that ACVO has potential applications as a cathode material in lithium-ion batteries.
