Variability of Ore Mineralogy at the Olimpiada Deposit

Abstract

One of the main tasks of the current production is to improve the economic performance of the operations when processing the ores mined at deep levels. Primary ores of the Olimpiada deposit are characterized by the complexity of the material composition and the variability of the main criteria of technological properties. A high variability in mineral composition of primary ores affects the quality of raw materials and their technological properties. This requires operational control of mineral contents and their ratios. The mineral composition of ores of the Olimpiada deposit is studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD).
