Variation of Length of Styloid Process

Abstract: SUMMARY:The styloid process is a bony projection that arises from the tympanic portion of the temporal bone, and its elongation is considered an anomaly that may be related to calcification of the stylohyoid and stylomandibular ligaments, which can trigger a series of symptoms that characterize the Eagle's syndrome.
