Abstract:The MgAl2O4 ceramics produced by the preliminary clinkering of synthesized powder was exposed to the hot isostatic pressing (HIP). Samples were subjected to a pointed impact loading, which excited the acoustical and electromagnetic emissions (AE and EME, respectively).
