Variations in Methadone Prescribing and Outcomes — A Service Evaluation in Sheffield and Chesterfield

Abstract: Background Methadone is a synthetic opioid used in refractory pain. There is increased awareness of methadone related adverse events including respiratory depression and QTc prolongation.
