Vasodilator Agents Protect against Indinavir Nephrotoxicity

Abstract: Indinavir (IDV) is a protease inhibitor widely used in AIDS treatment. A sustained elevation of creatinine was identified in IDV-treated patients. We have previously demonstrated that IDV causes renal vasoconstriction in rats.
