VAST as a generic, modular aeromechanics code for wind turbine simulation

Abstract: In order to leverage the full potential wind energy, more research is needed both in the field and numerically. At DLR, the need for simulation competencies is expected to be met by the in-house developed generic and highly flexible multi-physics code VAST.
