Vehicle operation safety monitoring using context based metrics: A case study

Abstract: This paper presents results of the deployment of vehicle safety systems developed by the Intelligent Vehicles and Safety Systems Group at the Australian Centre for Field Robotics. The technology was deployed within an active mine site in Australia undergoing standard open-cut mining operations.
